- I'm with those who want to keep MacApp.Tech$ more or less where it is. Unless
- there's a feature of AppleLink link like Compuserve's Navigator that I don't
- know about (very very possible), I can't scan bulletin board messages in the
- middle of the night, while I can (and do) pick up MacApp.Tech$ around 2AM
- several times a week.
-
- I do have a couple of suggestions:
-
- 1. Add a separate location for MacApp startup questions (I just bought… and
- can't compile the Nothing sample, etc.). I assume that MacApp staff would very
- carefully monitor this location, since these messages would tend to indicate
- possible deficiencies in MacApp documentation.
-
- 2. My copy of AppleLink is dated June 6, 1986. I believe it is the oldest
- application on my machine. Maybe it's time to update AppleLink software so
- that we have a little more flexibility. After all, four-year-old software is
- generally not considered to be on the cutting edge.
